Dental Warranty
Your dental treatments should stand the test of time, and our warranty ensures you can enjoy the results with complete confidence.
Dental Warranty For Your Smile
Your smile is important, and you deserve treatments you can trust to last. That’s why our dental warranty is here to give you added confidence and peace of mind.
When you invest in your oral health, you should feel assured that your care is protected, and this warranty is designed with you in mind. It’s a reflection of the quality you can expect and the commitment to your satisfaction that drives everything we do.
Inverleith Dentalcare
Our Dental Treatment Guarantee
Our warranty covers a wide range of dental restorations under normal conditions of use, including:
- Repairs for fillings that fall out
- Restoration of crowns, bridges, or veneers that break, loosen, crack, or discolour
- Adjustments or replacements of dental implants when fully completed by our team
If any issues arise with your covered dental work, we will repair, restore, or replace it free of charge.
Note: Dental health checks are mandatory every 6 months as well as regular hygiene visits as agreed with your dentist at our practice (Inverleith Dentalcare). For implants, the guarantee applies only if the full treatment (placement of crowns and/or bridges) is completed at Inverleith Dentalcare.

How Do I Maintain My Warranty?

To ensure your dental warranty remains valid, it’s essential to follow a few straightforward steps. These guidelines are designed to help protect your investment and keep your smile healthy and strong:
- Routine Dental Checkups: Attend dental health checks every six months. These visits allow us to monitor your oral health, identify potential issues early, and ensure your treatments are performing as expected.
- Hygiene Appointments: Regular hygiene therapy sessions are crucial for maintaining a clean and healthy mouth. During these visits, our hygienists will remove plaque and tartar buildup, which helps to prevent issues like gum disease and decay.
- At-Home Care: Follow the personalised oral hygiene advice provided by your dentist or hygienist. This includes brushing, flossing, and using any recommended dental products.
- Protective Measures: Use any custom-made dental devices, such as night guards or retainers, as prescribed. These help safeguard your restorations from damage caused by grinding, clenching, or other stressors.
- Open Communication: Please keep us informed of any changes to your oral or general health that could impact your dental work.

When the Warranty May Be Reduced or Invalidated
While our warranty is designed to give you peace of mind, certain factors can limit or void its coverage. To ensure your guarantee remains valid, it’s important to be aware of the following:
- Neglected Oral Hygiene: Failing to maintain a consistent oral hygiene routine, both at home and through professional cleaning appointments, can compromise the integrity of your restorations.
- Missed Appointments: Not attending regular dental checkups or hygiene visits every six months can lead to undetected problems that may affect your treatments.
- Improper Use of Restorations: Removable devices like dentures or night guards need to be used and cared for properly. Neglecting this can lead to damage or reduced functionality.
- Natural Changes in Bone or Gum Tissue: Over time, gum recession or bone loss may naturally occur, which can impact the stability of your restorations.
- Health-Related Issues: Certain medical conditions, such as diabetes, osteoporosis, or undergoing treatments like chemotherapy, can negatively affect your oral health and restorations.
- Lifestyle Habits: Smoking, drug use, or significant weight fluctuations within a short period can undermine the success of your dental work.
- Accidents and Trauma: Damage caused by sports injuries, accidents, or third-party actions is not covered under the warranty. Wearing a mouthguard during physical activities can help prevent these issues.
- Non-Compliance with Payments: If treatment fees are not fully settled, the warranty becomes invalid.

What Is Not Covered?

While our warranty offers peace of mind for most treatments, there are specific circumstances where the guarantee cannot apply. These include:
- Undetected Pre-Existing Conditions: Allergies, tooth illnesses, or complications that were not noticeable before your treatment started.
- Stress-Related Damage: Issues caused by excessive grinding or clenching, particularly at night, that could damage your dental work.
- Neglected Protective Devices: If you have been provided with a night mouth splint and fail to wear it as recommended, the warranty cannot cover the resulting damage.
- Work by External Providers: Any dental restoration or adjustment performed by another dentist or technician outside of our practice voids the guarantee.
- Temporary Restorations: Provisional solutions such as temporary dentures, crowns, or bridges are not covered, as they are intended for short-term use.
- Bone Grafting Procedures: Treatments involving bone block grafts, sinus lifts, or bone augmentation due to their complexity.
- Tooth Whitening: Cosmetic procedures like tooth whitening are not included, as results may vary based on individual factors.
- Patient-Selected Aesthetics: If you choose a specific colour or shape for your dental work during the preparation phase and later find it unsatisfactory, this is not covered. We encourage thorough discussions during this stage to ensure your preferences are met.
- Root Canal Treatment: Given the anatomical complexities and risk factors involved, root canal treatments cannot be guaranteed even with meticulous care.
